National Aboriginal Fashion Week

The first ever National Aboriginal Fashion Week kicks off tomorrow with some great talent.

Designers who will show their garments on the first night include Tracey George-Heese (Timeless Shows apparel), Danita Strawberry (Sky Spirit Collections), Bruno Henry (Bruno Henry Designs), Linda Lavallee (Cree Nisga'a Clothing), Tim Lewis (Tansi clothing), Tracy Toulouse (Swirling Wind), Disa Tootoosis (Disa Tootoosis Designs), and Derek Jagodzinsky (LUXX Ready to Wear). 

On Friday, designers for the second night feature include Misty Rain Noytowhow, Kim Picard (Kim PicarDesigns), Chantel Keshane (Chanzik Yu), Heather Bouchier, Wendy Houghton (Wolfpack Designs Apparel), Corrine Hunt (AYA Accessories), Kendel Netmaker (Neechi Gear), Jamin Zuroski, Chantel Dustyhorn (ChanD Designs), Savanna Kejick (Wabishkankatook Collection), and Jamie Gentry.


National Aboriginal Fashion Week© (NAFW) will deliver a diverse experience blending fashion and music from artists and designers from across Saskatchewan and Canada. The stimulating and refreshing production includes street wear, eco-friendly fashions and Aboriginal designs. NAFW aims to be a global platform for new designers and emerging artists in North America.
